Superbills
Live Life Healed is ALSO considered an out of network provider with all other insurance companies, not listed and can provide a “Superbill” and this is done once a month. You can submit and possibly get reimbursed by your insurance provider if you have out of network benefits. Not all sessions are reimbursed, but it is definitely worth a try.
EAPs
Live Life Healed is ALSO EAP friendly. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a health and wellness service paid for by an employer. It is designed to provide assessment and referral, as well as a brief counseling intervention for members and/or their families.
Reduced Rates
Live Life Healed offers reduced rates or a sliding fee for individuals with financial insecurities. But, I want to be as transparent as possible. I owe you that much. Offering reduced rates has its benefits; I truly believe that mental health services should not be a luxury. However, it requires strategic planning to ensure sustainability and longevity of the practice.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
